The professional guide will pick you up outside the Stavanger tourist information at 8 am. From there we drive by car to the pier at Lauvvik, 45 minutes. Get ready for a very nice fjord cruise.
Lysefjord, in the municipality of Forsand, is 42 kilometres long and 422 metres deep. Sailing along the fjord by tourist ferry, you will marvel at Pulpit Rock, the dramatic rock plateau that stands 604 metres above the Lysefjord and ranks as one of Norway's most popular natural tourist attractions. Tom Cruice was here in November 2017 and filming the Mission Impossible 6, and from the ferry you will see the Pulpit Rock from the sea.
Arriving Flørli- climbing the stairs.
When arriving Flørli, take a breath, fill your lungs with fresh air, get ready for the climbing. You may start careful, it is a long way to the top. If you don`t manage to reach the top, you can jump of the stair several places. There will always be two guides, so one of them will follow you back to the Flørli village.
Normally it takes 3-4 hours to reach the top. Along the stairs it is a lot of platform to rest, drink some water, sit down and have a pit stop. Maybe the cafe is open?
Reach the top- and the return
The scenery on the top of the stairs is amazing and breathtaking. From the top you will have a panoramic view to the fjord. When the group has reach the top, we will continue on gravel road for one hour.
Along the gravel road we will passed by ice blue water, maybe some snow? But thats for sure, you are in the Norwegian highland mountain now, so get dressed if you are cold.
The return back to the village Flørli, is a little bit challenging. The track lead us over smal rivers, you have to jump from stone to stone, keep the balance.
The valley before we entering the forrest is very nice, and the transition to the forest is significant. The path through the forest is challenging and steep, watch your steps.

Gratulation, you have climb 4444 steps, and done a jungle trip. Take a rest, you deserve it. Get ready for dinner.
A high speed vessel will pick us up at 6 pm and bring is back to Lauvvik pier at 6.50 pm. Estimated arrival Stavanger will be 8 pm.
